Dolly-Parton
born on January. 19th of 1946 Locust Ridge Tenn into a low-income family that would ultimately include 12 children Dolly Parton learned early to get away from the struggles of life by using her vivid and expansive imagination. Before she learned to read and write Dolly Parton had already begun to compose her own songs. The guitar that she first received was presented to her at the age of eight. The singer began her singing career at the Knoxville Tenn station by the age of 11. In the that same the year that Gold Band Records was a tiny independent record label. Even though she became popular in the local scene while she was at High School, she knew her goals were greater. The singer moved to Nashville following her graduation in 1964. Dumb Blonde (1967) and Something Fishy (1968) were the first two albums to chart on Monument Records. Porter Wagoner had been looking for a female singer to join his syndicated show at this point. Parton signed with RCA Records and then joined the Grand Ole Opry. She was hired in the year 1967. The show was cancelled by Wagoner, but in 1974, because her albums on her own like Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene exceeded the sales of their joint albums. Parton, after the split of their partnership with Wagoner, wrote"I'll Always Be Loved" by You and made it to the top spot at No. Its first appearance at No. 1 was 1974.
