Zoe Saldana (born June 19 in 1978) was the daughter of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Saldana in Passaic New Jersey. Her father was Dominican while her mother was Puerto Rican. Her parents raised their daughter within Queens, New York. Her family and she relocated to the Dominican Republic at the age of 10, where they'd spend the next seven year. Zoe started to discover an interest in performance dancing during her time in the Dominican Republic. The prestigious ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy Zoe learned both ballet along with other forms of dancing. Her training was not only a great way to exercise this eager young person, but also a good preparation for her acting career. Zoe's family and she moved back to United States when Zoe was 17 years old. Her love for dancing and a desire to be on stage developed.
