Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 - - January 19th 2007) was an American film, theatre, television, and voice actress. Pleshette started out in theatre. She appeared in films towards the end of the 1950s. In later years, she was an actor of note in films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). From 1972 until 1978, Pleshette would appear regularly on a variety of TV productions. She also played Emily Hartley, which earned her numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January 1937. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist and choreographer, who worked under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage manager for the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, as well as the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
