Amal Clooney
Amal Alamuddin Clooney was born in Beirut, Lebanon. Her initial name originates of the form'ml' or 'amal' in Arabic, meaning "hope". [9] Her family left Lebanon at the age of two years old, during the Lebanese Civil War, and was settled in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. Ramzi Alamuddin is a Lebanese Druze that hails from Baakline an area within the Chouf District of the Alam al-Din Dynasty. He earned an MBA from the American University of Beirut. The civil war came to an end in 1991[12][13] the family returned to Lebanon. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother. She was an international editorialist and political reporter for the Saudi-run al-Hayat paper. She founded International Communication Experts. The company, part of another larger company, specializes in booking celebrities photographs for publicity events, promotions for events, etc. Amal is a native of the Philippines. She is the mother of two brothers and a sister. 18. Amal attended Dr Challoner's high school, the girls' grammar school situated within Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire, before going to going to university. After graduating of St Hugh's College in Oxford with an Exhibition Grant, as well as the Shrigley Award, she studied at St Hugh's College. She received an honorary BA degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Judiciary (BA) at the age of 2000. The following year she was accepted into New York University School of Law for a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M). The Jack J. Katz Memorial Award was presented for her excelling in entertainment.
